Flush Metal Powder Coated Bathroom Partitions

Our powder coated bathroom partitions are finished with a powder coating in the color selected. After the powder is applied to the partition, using an electro-static spray process, the part passes through an oven and cures, melting the powder into a smooth film on the surface of the partition.

Powder is 100% solid and contains no solvent; therefore, it is an attractive choice over liquid finishing. Powder coatings permit compliance with volatile organic compound standards. Powder coatings offer a harder film than most liquid finishes. A more impervious film which offers excellent corrosion and humidity resistance.

Flushung

Ceiling Hung

Completely suspended from ceiling and wall, leaving the floor area below unobstructed. Requires structural support in ceiling; specified where ease of cleaning and maintenance are a high priority.

Flushart

Floor Anchored

Require no top bracing; flush top gives a modern appearance. Specified for installations in which pilasters can be fastened to solid floors; creates a streamlined, open look while maintaining dependable support and stability.

Flushite

Overhead Braced

Floor-supported with anti-grip headrail, allowing maximum support for the stresses of daily use. Most economical product.

Total Privacy

Featuring 75-inch-high doors and panels with an internal wood frame, continuous U-brackets, and 71-inch piano hinges for strength and stability. A no-sight design removes sightline gaps for added privacy, while limited exposed screws help maintain a clean, finished appearance.

No-Sight Privacy Series

No-sight Design

Flush Metal uses a full height, continuous stop and hinge side filler which eliminates sightline gaps around the door. Our No-Sight Privacy Series offers doors and panels 64” high and in heights up to 78”; available in all mounting styles above.

Partition Specs

Door & Panels

Doors & panels shall be 1″ thick insulated with a sound deadening honeycomb core. Face plates shall be not less than 22 gauge bonderized galvanized steel and shall have a molding interlocking all edges. Door edges shall be welded at intervals around perimeter to insure a rigid unit. Corners shall be welded and ground smooth. Panels available in 20 gauge.

Pilasters

Pilasters shall be 1-1/4″ constructed of 20 gauge bonderized galvanized steel insulated with a sound deadening double faced honeycomb core. Edges shall be welded at intervals around perimeter to insure a rigid unit. Edges to be interlocked with molding, corners to be welded and ground smooth.

Hardware

Compartment is to be complete with all hardware and fastenings for a complete installation. Hardware to include wrap around door hinges, latch, stop and keeper and coat hook. Lower hinge to be recessed in the door and shall operate on opposing nylon cams. Upper hinge to be recessed in the door and shall operate on a pin anchored above and below the hinge bracket. Latch to be concealed type with emergency access features. All hardware to be Zamac chrome plated.

Fittings

Wall and U-brackets to be chrome plated. Door strikes and hinges to be fastened by means of “one-way” head tamper proof chrome plated sex bolts. All other screws to be Philips head chrome plated. All pilasters to have a 3″ high stainless steel shoe. Brass and stainless steel hardware available at additional cost.

Finish

Partitions shall be thoroughly cleaned, and the finish shall consist of a high-quality powder coating baked at 350°F to create a smooth, even, and protective surface. This baked-on finish helps improve durability, supports long-term performance in demanding restroom environments, and provides a clean, consistent appearance across each unit.

Colors shown in the PDF below are a close approximation of the actual baked enamel finishes available, and slight variations may occur due to printing or screen reproduction. Concealed Latch

This latch has a complete mechanism concealed within the door. Emergency access feature is standard.

Structural Member

This type of mounting, used on both our Flushart and Flushung, assures maximum rigidity and durability.

Leveling Device

This mechanism has been designed to accelerate installation and to provide maximum rigidity at floor connection.

Construction

All components have an interlocking molding and are welded at intervals to insure maximum structural strength.

Honeycomb Core

Cellular honeycomb core is bonded and laminated to face plates providing maximum adhesion.

Anti-Grip Headrail

This type of construction on all Flushite compartments avoids chinning and provides maximum rigidity, as well.

General Care & Maintenance of Bathroom Partitions

To clean baked enamel partitions, wash with warm water, using mild soap only, rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Do not allow cleaning agent to dry on finished surface.

To maintain a high quality finish, we recommend waxing material periodically with a quality wax recommended for baked enamel finishes.

Do not use an abrasive material, harsh cleanser or any cleanser containing chemical detergents or acids.
